LivePolls in ChatGPT

How do I connect my LivePolls account to ChatGPT?

Add the LivePolls app in ChatGPT and choose Connect. ChatGPT sends you to livepolls.com to sign in and approve access through OAuth. You never paste an API key into ChatGPT, and LivePolls never sees your ChatGPT password.

What can the app do?

It can create polls in your LivePolls account, list your recent polls, show a poll and its live results, give you embed code for a website, and create or delete a webhook that notifies your own server when a poll closes or reaches a vote count.

Can it vote in polls?

No. The app cannot cast votes. Voting happens only on the poll page or an embedded poll, so results reflect real people, not an assistant.

How do I disconnect the app?

In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps → LivePolls → Disconnect. That removes ChatGPT's link to your account, and any access token it already holds expires within an hour. To have us revoke every ChatGPT token on your account immediately, email hello@livepolls.com from your account email. Polls you created stay in your LivePolls dashboard either way.

What data does the app use?

Only what it needs to run the tools above. The privacy policy lists what we collect from API, MCP, and ChatGPT app usage.
